Personalised Teaching Approach: Ability to create a learning plan tailored to each child's strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style. Patience, Understanding & Encouragement: Someone who can build a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident. Focus on Literacy Skills: Skilled in improving reading, writing, and spelling using multi-sensory and dyslexia-friendly techniques. Engaging and Flexible Sessions: A tutor who can adapt to the student's pace while keeping sessions fun, structured, and productive. Role Responsibilities Plan personalised lessons and resources based on each student's individual needs (core subjects and/or life skills). Deliver engaging sessions that promote consistent and meaningful progress. Boost pupils' confidence using thoughtful, supportive strategies. Manage challenging behaviour with patience and positivity. Track and record progress, providing monthly reports where required. Incorporate outdoor or nature-based learning activities when appropriate.
