Debbie Burbage Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business in Milton Keynes to recruit a Part Time Assistant Management Accountant. This is a key role within a friendly and supportive finance team, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
The Role
Reporting to the FD, you will be working closely with the Management Accountant and support the finance function by undertaking a range of tasks, including:
Preparing and maintaining the weekly cashflow forecast
Completing bank reconciliations and CID (confidential invoice discounting) reconciliations
Preparing and posting accrual and prepayment journals
Supporting wider month-end routines and reporting as needed
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with any ad hoc finance duties
The Candidate
Were seeking a reliable and detail-focused individual with a solid grounding in accounting processes. You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a similar finance role
Confidence using large accounting systems and strong Excel skills
A proactive, can-do approach and strong organisational skills
A team player attitude and clear communication
Remuneration
Salary: £16 -c£20 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 16-20 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, or 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday office based (flexible start and finish times)
Holidays: 35 days including statutory days (pro-rata), Pension, Parking
