Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory requirements.
4. Manage month-end and year-end financial processes effectively.
5. Ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards and policies.
6. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
7. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
8. Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making processes.
9. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure against allocations.
10. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial data reporting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
11. Qualified Accountant
12. Knowledge of public sector finance policies and procedures
13. Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
14. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
