We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring all customers have a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position is paid and suitable for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy social interaction.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
* Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently using proper serving techniques.
* Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and served promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage tabs when required.
* Restock supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation throughout service hours.
* Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing procedures at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar operations is desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
