Job Description
An opportunity has arisen in our Wing Water Supply team for an Operational Support Manager. Reporting directly to the Supply Manager, you’ll provide managerial and leadership support to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective operational area. You will assist with delivering the Water supply optimisation strategy and managing an extensive capital project portfolio while maintaining excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the water supply team in the Rutland area, addressing operational issues as they arise. Working closely with your team, you’ll ensure all activities are delivered efficiently with a risk-focused approach, prioritizing health and safety.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure your team achieves operational objectives. You will also be involved in performance management of your team, with support from your manager.
This role is suitable for a candidate eager to develop stakeholder management and leadership skills in a dynamic operational environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You will develop a comprehensive skill set to manage an operational Water Supply area, working alongside talented teams.

* Understanding of health and safety in operational processes, with a minimum IOSH qualification
* Licence to operate qualification for Water Supply (to be completed)
* Full UK driving license, as travel across the Anglian Water region is required
