Cards for Bravery is a charity dedicated to brightening the days of hospitalised and seriously ill children and their families. We're seeking passionate trustees to help guide our work as the charity looks to evolve over the next few years.

What difference will you make?

As a trustee, you’ll help shape the direction of Cards for Bravery, ensuring we continue to brighten the days of hospitalised and seriously ill children and their families. Your guidance and expertise will support key projects, improve our impact, and help us grow, allowing us to reach even more young patients in need.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the future of Cards for Bravery. While previous trustee experience is not required, we welcome applicants who bring enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to contribute their skills to support our mission. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in areas such as fundraising, finance, business management, or working with children in healthcare settings, but most importantly, we are looking for those who share our passion for making a difference. Ideal candidates will have a commitment to our mission, strategic thinking skills, reliability, integrity, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. As a small, volunteer-run charity, our trustees play a hands-on role in shaping our work, providing guidance, supporting key projects, and helping to ensure we continue to have a positive impact on the lives of the children and families we support.

What will you be doing?

As a trustee of Cards for Bravery, you’ll play a key role in guiding the charity’s work, shaping its future, and ensuring we continue to support hospitalised and seriously ill children and their families. This voluntary role involves attending bi-monthly board meetings, providing strategic advice, and offering support where needed. We welcome individuals with experience in areas such as fundraising, finance, or business management, but most importantly, we’re looking for those who share our passion for making a difference.
