IT Solutions Architect
As an IT Solutions Architect, you’ll provide technical leadership and architecture design across our technology and security functions as we grow our plans for a true tech-enabled future.
It’s about maintaining and aligning roadmaps to business strategy, working with stakeholders to define departmental and organisational strategy, and translating problems into easily understood technical descriptions. This key role will help us digitise our products, create outstanding experiences for our members, and drive our innovative tech strategy.
Who are we?
Not just another building society. Not just another job.
We're the fourth biggest building society in the UK and are a mutual organisation owned by our members, not shareholders.
Our colleagues say Skipton is a great place to work, and you could be one of them, bringing new ideas to keep our members at the heart of what we do.
Whatever your background and goals, we'll help you take the next step towards a better future.
In this role, you’ll work on innovative projects like our UK-first Affordability Index tool, enhancing experiences in savings, mortgages, and more.
We value tech and data, investing in leadership and development. Our tech stack includes Azure, React, .NET, MS Power Platform, and Dynamics. We support continuous learning with two days per month dedicated to L&D activities.
This is a time of creating new tech capabilities for our organisation and industry — an exciting opportunity to join us.
