Accounts Senior – Tech-Enabled Accountancy Firm

We’re working with a modern, tech-driven accountancy practice that’s rapidly scaling to become one of the UK’s leading SME advisors. They combine deep technical expertise with cutting-edge tools to support fast-growing businesses—and they’re now looking for an Accounts Senior to join their collaborative, ambitious team.
This is a great opportunity for a part- or fully-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant who enjoys client interaction, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Prepare accounts for small and medium-sized limited companies and LLPs (from trial balance and manual records)
* Work directly with clients to resolve queries, provide insights, and deliver value
* Produce management accounts and cash flow projections
* Draft meeting notes covering key tax and accounting discussion points
* Prepare specialist accounts for sectors like charities and solicitors
* Get involved in reconciliations (e.g., VAT, CIS) and occasional audit work
What they’re looking for:
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified or qualified
* Experience using cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage)
* IRIS accounts production knowledge a plus
* Comfortable with advanced Excel and data analysis
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to grow
* A team player who’s also confident working independently
* Driving licence a bonus (occasional travel)
