The Opportunity We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the new Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Maryborough. Leading a team of up to approximately 20 staff across two sites, you’ll ensure operations are safe, efficient, and delivering a high‑quality service to our customers. This role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring someone who can manage people, optimise processes, and keep operations running smoothly across multiple sites. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Lead and develop the team to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant operations across two facilities. Develop and monitor equipment and machine processes to reduce downtime and increase throughput efficiency. Oversee logistics and workflow management, ensuring efficient stock control. Maintain accurate records and provide clear reporting on production metrics including performance and downtime. Ensure consistent product quality of commodities produced and oversee regular audits. Drive a continuous improvement culture, identifying and implementing operational enhancements. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records and reports. About You Proven experience in an operations or supervisory role, ideally within a processing, manufacturing or waste management environment is desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges. Strong commitment to safety and compliance, with experience conducting safety briefings and managing incident reports.
