Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
* Maintain food safety standards and adhere to hygiene regulations at all times
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the head chef
* Contribute creative ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant environment
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
* Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment is essential
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques and cuisines
