Job Description
IQ-EQ is part of a leading Investor Services group that combines global expertise with a strong focus on client service. We support fund managers, global companies, family offices, and private clients worldwide. The role requires a team player with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage deadlines and timelines effectively.
Your primary responsibility will be to act as a front office contact for designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will be part of a supportive team, owning your tasks, proactively managing deliverables, and resolving issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day operations for designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients.
2. Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Collaborate with the line Manager and Technical & Training Team to ensure financial statements meet reporting requirements (e.g., UK GAAP, IFRS).
4. Review investor drawdown calculations for accuracy.
5. Review investor distribution calculations to ensure proper allocation and payment of proceeds.
6. Communicate cash movements between the Fund and Investors through notices.
7. Oversee preparation and tracking of client deliverables.
8. Conduct regular client calls to maintain effective communication.
9. Mentor and support team members, acting as an expert on designated clients and funds.
10. Understand and ensure compliance with the accounting framework (e.g., LPA).
11. Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
Qualifications and Experience
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, Qualified by Experience, or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of professional office experience.
* Experience reviewing working papers and financial statements, or strong accounting background.
* Experience managing client relationships and resolving issues directly with clients.
* Experience supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
