Your Role:
In this pivotal position, you will oversee the full-cycle accounting processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Your dynamic mindset will help us deliver accurate financial results and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction-level activities.
* Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures to produce high-quality financial statements.
* Maintain compliance with GAAP standards and other applicable accounting regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and financial reporting needs.
* Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and reliability.
* Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering their growth and development.
* Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues as they arise.
* Support audits and external reviews by providing necessary documentation and insights.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a combination of public and corporate accounting.
* Proficiency: Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
* GAAP Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GAAP accounting principles and standards.
* Month-End Close: Demonstrated experience in month-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.
* Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on dynamic problem-solving and process improvement.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Communication: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Preferred: Experience with relevant accounting systems.
