We are searching for a skilled and organised RVN to take over the reins while our current Head Nurse is on maternity leave. What you will do
* Direct the day-to-day running of our clinical team, ensuring smooth operations throughout the practice
* Provide guidance and support to our nurse and VCA team, helping them develop their skills and careers
* Engage in hands-on nursing care, from patient care and administering medication to monitoring anaesthesia
* Act as a role model for the team, optimising workflow and maintaining high standards of animal care
* Foster a positive and supportive environment for both our team and our furry patients
Requirements of the Registered Veterinary Nurse
* Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing, such as a Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing
* Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or an equivalent governing body
* Relevant clinical experience in a veterinary practice or hospital is essential
* Proficiency in general nursing duties, including patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia
* Experience handling various animal species, whether small animals, exotics, or large animals
* Strong general nursing skills with excellent customer service
