What you’ll do
You’ll play a key role in keeping day‑to‑day logistics running smoothly, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time. In this flexible, part‑time role, you’ll work closely with a supportive team while staying one step ahead in a fast‑paced environment. No two days will feel the same; you’ll balance planning, coordination, and hands‑on activity, all while helping deliver a reliable service for customers and colleagues.
* Keep logistics operations flowing smoothly across multiple sites, supporting a consistent and efficient workflow.
* Connect with project managers to understand upcoming needs and ensure equipment, stock, and resources are ready in advance.
* Travel between sites using a company vehicle, including collecting deliveries and managing incoming items.
* Process and deliver orders accurately and on time, meeting agreed service levels.
* Prepare equipment ahead of project deadlines, organising and moving stock where needed.
* Collaborate with teams and customers, communicating clearly to resolve queries and meet requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to support operational excellence.
* Take on hands‑on tasks like loading, unloading, and moving equipment, staying active throughout your day.
* Follow health and safety standards, including using PPE and completing relevant training.
Who you are
* Eligible to obtain DV clearance and hold a full UK driving licence for site travel.
* Someone who thrives in a collaborative, supportive team environment and enjoys keeping things organised and running smoothly.
* Bring strong communication skills, feeling confident engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
* Have experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution, or transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
* Think ahead, staying proactive and anticipating what’s needed before deadlines arrive.
* Highly organised, with great attention to detail in a fast‑moving environment.
* Comfortable with physical, hands‑on tasks and enjoy staying active at work.
* Confident using ICT tools to support day‑to‑day operations.
