Job Title: Night Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,673.65 per annum, plus 10% night shift allowance
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time
Working Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, including weekends and bank holidays
Location: Young Person Service, Britton House, Bristol

Working across a defined geographical area, you will assist in the delivery of a high-quality support, security and housing service to the clients of our supported schemes.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience with working with vulnerable client groups.
* IT skills including basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus willingness to learn Riverside-specific IT systems and complete relevant IT training.

Role Profile
* Have an awareness of clients' support needs and contribute to delivering agreed outcomes.
* Implement night security systems to ensure safety and security of the scheme.
* Meet health and safety requirements; manage anti-social behaviour hvor applicable.
* Maintain cleanliness within schemes, prepare rooms and conduct site inspections.
* Record information accurately, updating Support and Housing Management databases.
* Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
* Consider equality and diversity across client groups and tackle discrimination.
* Promote client involvement, consultation and communication.
* Assist service users with day-to-day tenancy issues, rent payments and scheme requirements.
* Use IT systems appropriately; report faults to maintenance contractors using appropriate systems.
* Provide administrative support to the Housing Team and Service Managers.
Service Delivery
* Understand your role and contribute to maximising profitability; align efforts with organisational purpose.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team and follow a defined rota within a geography (small group of schemes).
* Attend team meetings, training events and regular supervision as appropriate.
* Assist colleagues in meeting key performance indicators (voids, arrears and outcomes).
* Adhere to equality and diversity policies in all service delivery.
* Promote empowerment and independence through effective information exchange with day staff.
* Report repairs to maintenance contractors using appropriate systems.
Other Duties
* Provide a high-quality, customer-oriented service in line with Riverside practices
* Review work outputs and pursue improvement targets
* Participate in divisional work and encourage innovation
* Undertake personal development to stay up to date with housing and customer service developments
* Ensure compliance with Riverside\u2019s Equality and Diversity policy, and data quality regulations
* Actively promote Riverside locally
* Any other duties as required by the designated manager
* Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed in service delivery
