We are currently recruiting for Quality Controller at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm
Salary: £12.67 per hour
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Documenting and reporting quality issues promptly to the quality management team.
* Working closely with production staff to educate and enforce quality standards at every stage of production.
* Assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
* Taking product samples and performing necessary tests to assess quality attributes.
* Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections and tests conducted.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
Requirements
* Previous experience in quality control or assurance within the food industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems and food safety regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict quality standards.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new quality practices and technologies.
