Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and trained HLTA seeking a new role? Could you work flexibly across year groups covering PPA? Would you be looking to working at a school where leadership and personal development is rated as “good”? Are you looking to obtain an HLTA qualification after obtaining a CACHE level 3 - this school are prepared to train an able teaching assistant to take this role.
As the HLTA, you will be expected to:
• Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills
• Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine interest in working with students who have a variety of additional needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently.
• Calm under pressure.
• Experience in the classroom would be an advantage.
The ideal applicant will have:
• At least 6 months experience of working with children or in a school
• HLTA Qualification or an Undergraduate degree in Education
• A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
• Bundles of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
