About MAPP Psychology
MAPP Psychology is an independent psychology practice with bases in Edinburgh and Glasgow. We provide high-quality psychological services across three core areas: one-to-one therapy, specialist assessments (ADHD and Autism), and medico-legal psychological reporting. Our team of psychologists work with individuals, families, law firms, and organisations who value excellence, depth of expertise, and compassionate care.
This role is a full-time position to join our Edinburgh team. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative practice known for clinical excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities
* Provide individual therapy to clients across a range of presentations (both in-person and online).
* Deliver high-quality psychological assessments, including ADHD and Autism assessments, in line with best-practice standards.
* Contribute to medico-legal assessments and reports for law firms (training and supervision provided where required).
* Work as part of a supportive team of psychologists, sharing knowledge and contributing to our collective development.
* Engage in service development projects as MAPP continues to expand its digital and in-person offerings.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (HCPC registered) or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK.
* Experience in delivering evidence-based psychological therapy to adults (experience with children and adolescents desirable but not essential).
* Experience and/or interest in neurodiversity assessments (ADHD/Autism). Training will be provided for clinicians wishing to expand into this area.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in clinical documentation and reporting.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
