About the Department:
We are seeking an enthusiastic DT specialist to cover maternity leave within our large and dynamic Design Technology department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a team that is dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and high-quality teaching.

A vibrant DT department
Our department offers a wide range of courses at KS4, giving students the chance to explore and specialise in areas they are passionate about. At KS3, students experience a carousel of engaging learning opportunities, building a strong foundation of skills across multiple disciplines. We teach a range of DT skills across Key Stage 3 including resistant materials, textiles, electronics, CAD/CAM and food. At Key Stage 4, we offer GCSE Design and Technology, Engineering Tech Award, Construction, plus Hospitality and Catering. The successful applicant would be proficient in one or more of these areas.
