You’ll be exposed to world-class systems, automation, analytics and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, logistics, distribution and retail partners. Key Criteria Currently studying for a degree with a placement year (priority given to 2028 graduates) Interest in supply chain, operations, logistics, or analytical roles Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse data effectively Demonstrated leadership qualities through academic, work or extracurricular achievements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage workload, work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment Available for the full 12-month placement (1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027) Eligible for a shorter 3–6 month placement if graduating in 2026 or 2027 What to Expect During your placement, you’ll gain insight into the full supply chain lifecycle — forecasting, planning, logistics, product launches, promotional execution and customer operations. You’ll take responsibility for real projects that directly impact product flow, commercial performance and retailer experience. Examples of placement work include: Leading supply chain project work for new launches or promotional initiatives Analysing key data to support forecasting, planning and performance insights Optimising processes across distribution, logistics and inventory management Acting as a supply chain partner for major UK retailers Using advanced analytics and automation tools to improve efficiency From day one, you’ll work within a diverse and collaborative team, receiving structured training and ongoing support from experienced mentors.
