The opportunity
As part of the EY Insurance Technology practice, you will work across a portfolio of engagements including Insurance Core Technology implementations, Blockchain applications, Mobile & Portals, and Cloud Capabilities. Our focus spans Europe, with continued growth, and we are trusted advisors to leading EMEIA Specialty Insurance providers.
Your role
You will be part of an engagement team driving business transformation, collaborating with Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, and Architects. We seek enthusiastic individuals with an Agile mindset, industry knowledge in Insurance, and consulting experience.
Location(s):
London, Edinburgh, Birmingham
Your key responsibilities
1. Managing and leading project teams within larger projects;
2. Leading Scrum teams in agile delivery across multiple countries;
3. Managing end-to-end project delivery within financial and time constraints;
4. Ensuring high client satisfaction through quality delivery;
5. Applying knowledge in areas like Policy, Billing, and Claims in Insurance;
6. Building trusted client relationships;
7. Identifying new business opportunities and supporting proposals;
8. Supporting development of EY solutions and tools;
9. Contributing to practice and team development activities.
Skills and attributes for success
1. Solution architecture and large-scale programme delivery;
2. Experience with insurance technology packages (Guidewire, Fadata, Duckcreek);
3. IT strategy and team leadership;
4. Stakeholder engagement and project management;
5. Ability to understand complex problems and develop workable solutions;
6. Developing relevant propositions for clients;
7. Delivering high-quality outputs under tight deadlines;
8. High motivation, commitment, and teamwork skills.
Minimum qualifications
1. Experience with Target Operating Models, Process Automation, BPM, Digital Platforms (e.g., Pega, Mobile, Portals);
2. Insurance experience from top-tier consultancy or insurer;
3. Experience in large technology implementations, requirements gathering, and process definition;
4. Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Preferred qualifications
1. Understanding of current industry trends and their impacts;
2. Technical knowledge of software engineering, reporting, modelling, and testing.
