Part‑time, Band 7 Nurse – Clinical Endocrine Research Coordinator (children and adults)
Overview
A part‑time, Band 7 Nurse with substantial previous experience of both academic‑led and industry‑sponsored clinical endocrine research in children and adults is sought to coordinate and manage studies led by an Institute of Metabolic Science investigator in the NIHR Cambridge Clinical Research Facility.
Responsibilities
* Planning, coordinating and managing a range of specialist thyroid and endocrine research studies including recruitment of participants, liaison with local PIs sponsors and management of the clinical study team.
* Preparing and adhering to protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Providing care and undertaking specialist research interventions to patients/participants together with ongoing information & support.
* Maintaining study documentation, including databases and preparation of material for publication or presentation.
* Monitoring/auditing progression of studies and preparing reports for funders & sponsors.
* Maintaining professional development and presenting research to professional peer groups, funders and patient support groups.
