Role Overview
As a Lining Team Leader, you will lead a team of skilled operatives delivering relining solutions using UV cure, steam cure, hot water cure, and ambient cure techniques across both regulatory and non-regulatory environments.
Working primarily on established frameworks with the UK's leading water companies, you will be responsible for overseeing all site activity and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of site operations, working closely with the Project Supervisor while supporting the performance and development of your team.
* Day-to-day responsibility for site staff and associated site activities.
* Oversee all relining works completed on site.
* Ensure adherence to site processes and reporting requirements.
* Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
* Act as a role model and support the development of operatives.
* Identify and resolve issues before they escalated.
* Produce high-quality results, reports, and feedback.
* Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Support pre‑planning and preparation of works.
* Ensure all site incidents are reported appropriately.
Required Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Team Leader role within drainage or utilities.
* Strong experience in sewer rehabilitation and relining.
* Experience with UV, steam, hot water, or ambient lining techniques.
* EUSR patching and lining.
* Full UK driving licence (HGV desirable).
* Experience managing a lining team and operating lining rigs.
* NRSWA Street Works.
* Confined Space Level 2 or above.
* High-pressure water jetting.
* OS19 qualification desirable.
* Working knowledge of robotic cutters.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday (with flexibility for early starts, weekends, and out-of-hours work).
