About the role Bardwell CofE Primary School is seeking a caring, committed, and engaging SEN 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing primary school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child’s learning journey. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDco, and external professionals to provide tailored 1-to-1 support. Key responsibilities Provide 1 to 1 support, ensuring access to the curriculum and full participation in school life Implement individual learning and care plans under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDco Monitor progress and keep accurate records in line with school and SEND protocols Collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Ideally, you will have: experience working with children with SEND a patient, empathetic, and resilient nature a willingness to learn and adapt to meet individual needs the ability to follow direction and also use initiative excellent communication and teamwork skills relevant qualifications or equivalent (desirable).
