This is more than just a maintenance role – it’s an opportunity to be part of a skilled team that underpins our ability to deliver high-quality food products every day.You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and proactive maintenance of factory plant and equipment, ensuring we operate at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards in safety and compliance.With a structured shift pattern and clear progression opportunities, this is a role that offers both stability and long-term potential in a fast-moving, forward-thinking environment.This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days 0530 -1730Your Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipmentEnsure all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in line with regulatory requirementsSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesWork closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve line efficiencyUphold best practices in health, safety, and environmental complianceContribute to lean maintenance practices, including TPM and CI toolsThe Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for someone with a strong multi skilled background and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.You’ll have:A recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering or equivalentSolid electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to work across disciplinesAwareness or certification in Breathing Apparatus and Fire Fighting (desirable)A sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislationExperience with lean manufacturing and TPM methodologiesA commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellenceWhy Sofina Foods?At Sofina Foods, you’ll step into a high-impact role where your voice matters.
