* Assist in preparing fee proposals; some project management experience is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
* BSc/BEng/MEng with a focus on hydrology or hydraulics; chartered (or on track to chartership) by a professional body.
* Experience with 1D/2D hydraulic modelling (e.g., Flood Modeller, ESTRY/TUFLOW) and modelling studies for fluvial and pluvial flood risk.
* Hydrological modelling using FEH methods to estimate peak river flows and flood hydrographs (ReFH2 and WINFAP).
* Experience completing Flood Risk Assessments and contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments to support planning; understanding of flood risk management and national planning policy.
* Experience providing support and training to junior team members; experience with GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo) and other hydraulic modelling packages (HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM desirable).
