Project Administrator - Gateshead
Office Angels are excited to recruit a Project Administrator to join a well-established company based in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, supporting senior staff and Project Managers across a variety of projects with full administrative responsibilities.
You'll be joining a small, close-knit team of high achievers who are committed to supporting your development. To thrive in this role, you'll need excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and a structured, methodical approach to your work.

Role Details
Location: Gateshead, free on-site parking
Salary: Circa £30,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, generally
Office based, although possible scope for hybrid, depending on business needs
Holidays: 23 days (3 reserved for Christmas closure) + bank holidaysKey Responsibilities
As the office's central point of support, you will handle a variety of administrative and project-related tasks, including:
Supporting the project and field sales teams throughout project lifecycles
Handling client queries and service calls, liaising with suppliers and service providers
Sales order processing: raising purchase orders, acknowledgements, and client invoices
Job costing: adding supplier invoices to cost sheets and liaising with Project Managers
Preparing estimates using Excel and AQ (industry-specific software), initially for individual items and progressing to full project estimates
Managing deliveries and stock movements
General administrative supportKey Skills & Attributes
Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or technical support within construction, engineering, design, or interior design is highly desirable
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Strong numeracy and literacy
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Highly organised with a structured and methodical approach
Strong problem-solving skills
