This is a 1.0 WTE permanent position within the Outpatient and Associated Services Directorate. The role involves project management across clinical services and hospital sites, with scope to influence role development.
You will support modernization and quality improvement projects across key specialties, working closely with colleagues from primary and secondary care. Managing project staff directly, experience in staff management is essential.
We seek candidates with significant project management experience or those pursuing a career in project management.
Aligned with NHS Scotland Centre for Sustainable Delivery objectives and NHS Lothian’s Outpatient Strategic Framework, the role aims to improve patient journeys through sustainable, safe, effective, and person-centered care.
Requirements include a Degree in Business Management or equivalent, a Project Management qualification or experience, proficiency in IT (especially Microsoft Office), experience with databases, and familiarity with TRAK system is desirable. Strong organizational, planning, communication, and staff management skills are essential. Knowledge of outpatient services is beneficial.
