We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation in Coventry, who are recruiting for an Insurance & Risk Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The contract will initially be for 6-months, but has potential to be extended, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent role. The successful candidate will be required to attend office a minimum of 2 days p/week, and they're offering a daily rate of circa £400 p/day via an Umbrella company. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Strategically leading the insurance function for the organisation Arranging adequate and cost-effective cover for key internal and external stakeholders Processing insurance claims within established timescales, on a range of matters, including motor, liability, personal accident, school contents etc. Managing the renewal process Leading on risk management processes for the organisation, including responsibility for the risk register Liaising with key stakeholders, including insurers, solicitors, claimants and internal colleague, when queries arise on claims Experience required: Must have previous experience working in an in-house insurance role, public sector would be preferable Claims handling Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible) Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
