Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently working with a manufacturing company, based in the Warrington area who are seeking to recruit a Accounts Assistant – to join a well-established team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a varied Accounting role, and to progress your skills further.
Duties of the role:
1. Purchase Ledger – responsible for the day-to-day processing of purchase invoices (high volumes)
2. Credit Control
3. Bank reconciliations.
4. Raising manual invoices
5. Processing invoices and collections
6. Processing employee expenses
7. Manage fuel cards and reconcile monthly
8. Downloading petty cash
9. Supporting with the production of management accounts and year end reporting
10. Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc admin tasks
Skills required:
11. Successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills & be confident using Excel
12. Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment.
13. Ability to take initiative and practical approach to problem solving
