Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic. Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on.
What you’ll do
* Provide roadside repair and support as a Patrol Roadside Mechanic, diagnosing and fixing faults to keep members moving.
* Manage your own kit and keep your RAC van stocked; report documentation completed with accuracy.
* Respond to calls in a dynamic environment, adapting to faults, tyre, battery, or diagnostic issues as they arise.
What you’ll get
* Competitive salary: £53,720 basic salary (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance if applicable), with the opportunity to earn up to £58,000.
* Weekly variety: You’ll work on average 40 hours per week, with rosters provided seven days in advance and core hours confirmed three days prior.
* Shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

What you’ll need
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary
