What You’ll Be Doing
* Completion of month-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations, journals for accruals and prepayments, and raising POs.
* Preparation and submission of VAT, ONS, and other statutory returns.
* Monitoring capex spend, ensuring it aligns with the approved budgets.
* Supporting treasury functions, including daily and weekly cash forecasting, monthly bank reconciliations, monitoring of bank accounts, and preparation of payments.
* Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and responding to queries from statutory auditors.
* Supporting continuous improvement within the department to enhance processes, systems, and financial controls.
* Your involvement in treasury and month-end processes will evolve based on team requirements and your development in the role.
What We Need From You

* Part-qualified with ICAS/ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (study support available).
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* Analytical and presentation skills.
* Effective communication and influencing skills.
* Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
* Previous knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not essential.
* A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, proactive support for stakeholders, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and comfort working to strict deadlines.
