TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Tutors to deliver tailored tuition in Kimberley and the surrounding Nottinghamshire area. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners gain confidence and achieve success in maths through personalised, high-quality support.
About the Role
You will deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group tuition, working with learners in their homes, schools, or community venues. Lessons will be designed around individual needs—focusing on building understanding, closing learning gaps, and preparing students for exams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver targeted maths tuition across KS2–KS4 (including GCSE)
* Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning styles and abilities
* Simplify challenging topics such as algebra, geometry, and numeracy
* Track learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Comply with safeguarding and child protection policies
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum
* Experience teaching or tutoring (SEND/SEMH experience desirable)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Up-to-date safeguarding training
