Casual Swimming Instructors (Teddington Pool)

Where you’ll be working
Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre - Facilities here include a main pool, learner pool, fitness suite, spin studio, exercise studio, and hydrotherapy pool.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of our swimming instructor team, providing professional and friendly tuition to both adults and juniors. This could be in a class setting or on a one-to-one basis.
Making sure that all pupils are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service, and ensuring the facilities are clean, safe, and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.
You’ll be expected to plan lessons, develop programmes, and keep accurate records on attendances, etc.
In addition, and subject to demand, instructors may be offered mutually convenient bookings for private swimming lessons with clients.

What we’ll need from you
We ask that you are qualified and hold a minimum of ASA Swimming Instructor Level for this role. A first aid qualification and some experience would also be very desirable. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and service provision.

We may offer you casual shifts covering daytime or evenings, both during the week and at weekends. Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit in work around your other commitments.
