GSL Education are currently seeking a proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a progessive school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing social, emotional, and interpersonal skills. Work 1:1 or with small groups to provide guidance and mentorship. Encourage positive engagement in learning and school activities. Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to develop personalised behaviour strategies. Maintain records and monitor progress to inform teaching and intervention plans. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Requirements for Behaviour Mentor: Experience working with children with behavioural or SEMH needs is desirable. Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support students effectively. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
