Salary: £32,000 - 32,000 per year Requirements: We need wide knowledge and proficiency in PC software and infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows 10/11, antivirus, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory administration, virtualization, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, office and mail systems, switches, routers, IPT, Box, remote access solutions such as SSL-VPN, and firewall products. We need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese speaking ability would be an advantage. We need the ability to investigate and find answers to email and telephone enquiries about technical issues. We need proven customer service experience. We need strong time management, multitasking, and organisational skills. We need a strong work ethic. We need reliable timekeeping and attendance. We need a solid administration background and a willingness to support all customer service areas in EMEA. We need the ability to attend customer meetings for projects or maintenance contract work. We need the ability to maintain relevant customer maintenance documentation on our file server. We can only consider candidates eligible to work in the UK and able to provide relevant supporting documentation. Responsibilities: We communicate with end users across the EMEA region face to face, by telephone, email, or collaboration tools at the customer site. We provide 1st level troubleshooting for technical issues and act as the escalation point of contact for end users. We deliver hands-on desktop and laptop PC support. We handle network and PC implementation and optimisation. We plan and design customer PC and network solutions in detail. We configure PC, network, desktop security elements and support day-to-day service delivery. We plan and execute migrations. We support PC and call centre systems, including DC servers. We carry out proof of concept testing and acceptance testing. We negotiate with and manage vendors. We develop and implement new features and services. We establish and decommission PC and desktop security systems. We manage project and service delivery schedules. We ensure systems and implementation remain profitable. We use and update the ticketing system. We maintain secure operations and keep the environment tidy. We document implementation and modification work. We visit customer premises when required for project or maintenance contract work, including cover staff support. We provide periodic status reports to our line manager. We coordinate operational flow with each department and our customers. We respond to ad hoc requests from our line manager. We travel on business to EMEA and CIS countries.
