HGV Technician (Mercedes-Benz)

40 hours a week. Rotating earlies and late shift and every other Saturday morning as overtime. Additional overtime opportunities available and call out/stand by to site.
As a HGV (Truck) Technician for Rygor Service Solutions, part of the Rygor Group, your role is to keep our customer's vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. There's plenty of overtime opportunities for you too. We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team at our Grantham fleet workshop, where we maintain Mercedes-Benz trucks (Daimler Trucks), you will benefit from BPW and LOLER training, as well as online H&S e-learnings.

Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
Qualification - You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance. What's more, you will need the ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
Attention to Detail- Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Time Management- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain workshop efficiency.
