You will support the Administration team in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme, including:
1. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for members within SLA.
2. Handling high earners' calculations with legislative controls for protection.
3. Performing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
4. Updating and reconciling worklists to ensure compliance.
5. Reviewing transfer cases for regulatory compliance.
6. Responding to email correspondence and managing team inboxes.
7. Assisting auditors with queries during annual audits.
8. Completing and reviewing complex member calculations to maintain SLA standards.
9. Reviewing complaint and historic pension transfer cases, and authorising daily payments.
10. Supporting processes to ensure compliance and reduce escalations and complaints.
11. Providing support and testing for cyclic and key projects.
12. Supporting team members in PMI exams and driving process improvements for efficiency.
Minimum requirements include:
* Experience in DB Pension Scheme administration, either in-house or third-party.
* Experience with technical benefit calculations.
* Up-to-date UK Pensions legislation knowledge.
* Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Teamwork and willingness to assist colleagues.
* High motivation and eagerness to learn.
* Numeracy and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of UK Pension Schemes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
