Deputy Home Manager – Learning Disabilities Home
Salary – £47,000 – £50,000 per annum

Appoint Healthcare are proud to be partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together we are seeking a Deputy Home Manager for their reputable Learning Disability home based in Hartlepool.
Overview
1. In this role you will build professional relationships with the residents and staff at the home and throughout the company.
2. You will be able to communicate effectively with outside agencies to promote the service
3. You will be responsible for working as part of a team and growing the staff requirements to meet the needs of residents.
4. You will conduct and effectively manage the staff team and will be required to have a share in on call duties.
5. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance is set out in line with CQC guidelines.
Requirements
6. A proven track record of managing Learning disabilities, Autism or challenging behaviour
7. Outstanding staff management and organisation skills
8. Familiarity with and the ability to apply CQC, the Mental Health Capacity Act and other professional regulations
9. Good presentation and report writing skills
10. A level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care (desirable)
Location
This role is based in Hartlepool and is commutable from Middlesbrough, Darlington, Sunderland and surrounding areas.
