Wood CNC Machinist – Doncaster (DN9)
We’re looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN9). This is a stable, long-term role with great hours and competitive pay.
Pay & Hours
* Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience
* Overtime paid at 1.25x
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Friday: Early finish
The Role
* Operating CNC machinery working primarily with timber and wood-based materials
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC routers (programming experience a strong advantage)
* Producing high-quality components to drawings and specifications
* Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience operating wood CNC / CNC routers
* Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials, and wood machining processes
* CNC programming knowledge is highly advantageous
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
