The successful candidate will combine technical understanding with commercial drive, helping customers identify the right sensor, automation and application-led solutions.Responsibilities for Sales Engineer - Industrial AutomationAs a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales activity across your South Wales territory. This will involve maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and working closely with internal technical specialists to deliver complete customer solutions.
Candidates must live on patch, ideally within SA, CF, LD, NP, HR, GL, WR or BS postcodes.Manage and develop a defined sales territory across South WalesBuild relationships with OEMs, end users, system integrators and industrial customersDemonstrate technical products and solutions, preparing proposals, quotations and value propositionsGenerate new enquiries through site visits, networking, exhibitions, social media and prospectingMaintain accurate CRM records, including leads, opportunities, customer interactions and quotationsWork with internal product, marketing and industry specialists to develop complete customer solutionsRequirements for Sales Engineer - Industrial AutomationThe ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales, regional sales or account management within an engineering-led environment. You should be confident selling to industrial customers and able to understand customer applications, technical requirements and commercial drivers.
