Job Title: Assistant Health & Safety Manager Salary: From £38,000 per annum Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday (7:30am – 4:30pm) Location: Head Office – Hemel Hempstead Role Purpose Support the Health & Safety Manager/Fire Officer in delivering effective health and safety management across construction, refurbishment, and operational environments. The role focuses primarily on construction and refurbishment projects, with additional involvement in operational safety within care settings. Key Responsibilities Construction & Refurbishment * Carry out Health & Safety audits on construction and refurbishment projects. * Prepare risk assessments and Construction (Design and Management) documentation, including F10 notifications, Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), and RAMS. * Provide Health & Safety guidance and support to maintenance operatives and site teams. * Track and coordinate Health & Safety training for construction team members and subcontractors. Operational Health & Safety * Conduct operational audits, including water safety and COSHH assessments. * Monitor water safety audits and ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales. * Provide practical advice and support to operational teams.
