About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an industry-leading, growing business. Our client is a multiple award-winning provider of Health & Safety, HR, and Employment Law services, leading the market for over 80 years.
We are seeking a proactive, driven BDM with a proven track record in B2B sales, strong lead generation skills, and an excellent consultative 'value-based' selling approach. The role offers a guaranteed minimum salary of £60,000, with an OTE of £90,000, and top performers earning over £150,000. Benefits include a company car (Tesla and other hybrids/electric vehicles) or a £5,000 car allowance, quarterly bonuses, company holidays, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend face-to-face appointments booked by telemarketing partners, with a motivation to succeed and close deals.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, explore new markets, and build relationships.
* Achieve quarterly sales targets in a high-energy, target-driven environment.
* Build and maintain a sales pipeline proactively.
Candidate Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in B2B sales, with a successful track record (industry-specific experience not required).
* Confident in consultative, value-based selling.
* Ability to quickly build rapport with diverse prospects including business owners, HR managers, and board members.
* Experience working in fast-paced, target-driven environments and exceeding sales goals.
* Previous field-based experience is essential.
