An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join the Intellectual Property team at a leading US firm in the City of London. They are seeking a driven and enthusiastic paralegal with a genuine interest in the IP field to join their collaborative and rapidly growing team.
About the role
* Supporting lawyers to assist with the preparation, drafting and filing of trade mark and design applications.
* Conducting clearance searches
* Undertaking online research, investigations, legal research and preparing reports
* Assisting with IP watching and monitoring services.
* Assisting with managing the IP database and records
* Researching particularly in the areas of fashion, retail, luxury goods and design
* Preparing research memos and presentations.
About you
* Strong internet and online search skills
* Trade Mark and design prosecution experience, with UK, EU and international experience preferred.
* A strong academic background
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to show initiative
* The ability to be detail-focused and self-motivated.
