Support WorkerPay rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour - Weekly or Monthly pay Available!Shift pattern: Days 7.30am - 17:00pm & Waking Nights 21:00pm - 7:00amHours: 30 hours per weekWe are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a care team supporting a young person with Autism, mental health needs, and narcolepsy with cataplexy within her family home inErdington, Birmingham.What you'll be doingAs a Support Worker, you'll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:Providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis or 1:1 basisCreating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the communityEncouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeingSupporting communication in the way that works best for themEncouragingindependence with household tasks(such as washing up and tidying)Supporting during home tutoring sessionsMonitoringfood intake and providing prompts to eat safelySupporting with personal care and continence needsObserving and supporting with medication administrationProviding emotional support and reassuranceHelping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environmentThis is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.What you'll bringWe're looking for people who already have experience in:Complex CareAutismBehaviours that may be perceived as challengingMental Health supportWho we areacuity care delivers specialist support across Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability & Autism, and Mental Health Services.
