Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating, testing, and refining new food‑to‑go concepts, recipes, and formats. Prepare samples for internal reviews, customer presentations, and sensory panels. Record recipe formulations, yields, costings, and nutritional information accurately. Maintain NPD kitchen ensuring it remains clean and organised Monitor food‑to‑go trends, competitor launches, and consumer behaviour. Gather insights to support ideation sessions and seasonal development pipelines. Maintain a library of trend reports, ingredient innovations, and supplier samples. Track stock levels in the NPD areas and manage replenishment to support a smooth development workflow. Participate in quality assessments, sensory evaluations, and product benchmarking. Assist the wider team during factory trials and preparing for product launches. Essential Criteria Food related, culinary or equivalent degree. Computer literate – excel, word, sharepoint. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Passionate for food development, ideally with experience working in a food environment. Interest in food innovation and trend insights. Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team. Proven ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Flexible, adaptable and positive, with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
