Self-employed Business Development Sales Consultants required to secure sponsorship and advertising partnerships across the Montserrat’s portfolio of live events.

Since being established in 2021, award winners Montserrat Events has been creating unforgettable cultural and community experiences that bring people together.

The business delivers the Hampshire Air Festival to Proms & TeaJazz in the Park at Stansted Park, and community favourite, Summer in Lee and Tales from the Sea Shanty Festival; the events attract tens of thousands of visitors each year — celebrating heritage, music, and togetherness across the South Coast; a mixture of free to attend & ticketed events for all to enjoy.

Over the years we have proudly collaborated with leading brands including Eaton Aerospace, Parco Civil Engineering, Bristow Helicopters, and Atlantic Refrigeration — building partnerships that help us deliver events that are in the air, on the ground, and in the hearts of thousands.

The Role

As a self-employed Business Development Consultant, you will identify and engage businesses that want to be part of something meaningful — supporting culture, tourism, and community spirit — while gaining real promotional value for their brand.

There is no set bounderies for the area of coverage, the business though has been very successful in securing sponsorship in the localised area of the event location.


Key Responsibilities

* Research and approach potential sponsors and advertisers aligned to each event’s audience.
* Present creative sponsorship and advertising opportunities tailored to each business.
* Negotiate and secure confirmed partnership agreements.
* Manage relationships to encourage renewals and multi-event commitments.
* Maintain accurate tracking of contacts, proposals, and results.


What We are Looking For

* Proven experience in sales, business development, sponsorship, or advertising acquisition.
* Confidence presenting to business owners and decision-makers.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and negotiation skills.
* Self-driven and target-oriented with a professional, positive approach.
* A passion for live events, culture, and community connection.


Commission Structure

* Attractive commission of up to 20% of the secured sponsorship or advertising income (based on value and deal type).
* Bonuses for multi-event and repeat sponsor commitments.
* Commission payable on funds received, with prompt monthly payment terms.
