Role: Tax Senior
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified tax professional to join a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm in a broad, client-facing role covering both personal and corporate tax.
Based in Glasgow, this respected firm boasts a modern, people-first culture. As a Tax Senior, you’ll work across a varied portfolio, providing compliance and advisory services to corporate and personal clients alike. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is keen to progress their tax career within a supportive and well-connected team.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns for a diverse client portfolio
* Oversee tax compliance processes and ensure deadlines and HMRC obligations are met
* Support tax planning and advisory projects, including business structuring, profit extraction, CGT/IHT, and R&D claims
* Collaborate with audit, accounts, and payroll teams to ensure accurate tax reporting
* Keep abreast of developments in UK tax legislation and contribute to process improvements
Experience
* Experience in either personal or corporate tax within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation (across both areas is desirable)
* ACCA, CA, or CTA qualified or actively studying
* Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
* A proactive team player with the ability to work independently
