Toolmaker - Injection Moulding & Die Casting
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: Up to £33,000
Shifts: Days, Monday - Thursday
The Role:
* Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools for injection moulding and die casting.
* Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
* Program and operate CNC machines with accuracy and efficiency.
* Carry out tool calibration and preventative maintenance.
About You:
* Time-served Toolmaker or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Proficient in CNC programming and operation; CAD/CAM software experience is a strong advantage.
* Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
* Competent in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, dial indicators).
* Strong knowledge of toolmaking processes, materials, and repair methods.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
* Strong team player with good communication skills.
* Experience in CAD design/programming would be a plus.
