Job Title: Temporary Fire Door Joiner Location: Manchester (M9) Job Type: Temporary Contract Rate: £200 per day Start Date: Immediate Start Available Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner for a temporary contract working within live sheltered accommodation. This role involves the removal and re-installation of fire doors, ensuring all works are completed to the highest safety and compliance standards. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work respectfully in an occupied environment. Key Responsibilities Rip out and removal of existing fire doors Re-installation of new fire doors and frames Building frames out where required Installation of locks, hinges, and associated ironmongery Easing and adjusting doors for correct operation Fire stopping and lining of doors Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Requirements CSCS Card Proven experience installing and maintaining fire doors Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards Competent in fitting locks, hinges, and door furniture Experience working in live/sheltered accommodation preferred Own tools and PPE required Ability to work independently and complete work to a high standard If interested in the position, please apply with your CV or contact Josh on 07594 519040.
